Pocosin Hollow Trail
A bit farther north than Entry Run, about a 20 minute drive from Lydia Mountain. Unlike Entry Run this trail is almost entirely in SNP. The climb is more gradual than Entry Run, so it is a bit easier
Driving Directions
- From Lydia Mountain take Bull Yearling and/or Turkey Ridge to South River Road.
- Turn right on South River
- After about 1/2 mile, turn left on Teel Mountain rd
- When Teel Moutanin ends at Middle River Rd, turn left (Va 667)
- After passing Hidden Lane, the trail begins on the left. You can park along the side of the road
Hiking Directions
The first half mile is a private road. The actual trail begins at the park entrance.
