Spoiled Hike Tees

There are several different types of tees:

Concrete Paver Tee Pads (PT).  A wooden frame with patio tiles.  These are generally 4' x 8', which is just enough for a crossover step.  This is the most common type of tee, especially out on the slopes.

Carpet Tee Pads (CT).  A wooden frame with an astroturf surface.  (Like the tee pads at Greene Counnty and Walnut Creek, the carpet is a remnant from an old UVa practice field).

Wooden Tee Pads (WT).  These are my new favorite.  They are easier to build.  We’ll see how long they last.

Long Markers (LM).   4' long piece of landscape timber, usually on ground that is fairly flat already.  The Tee is behind the marker.

Short Markers (SM).  A 16" piece of landscape timber alond side the road, a driveway, or a fairway.  This designation is also used for some slate markers out in the woods

Roadside Markers.  Short Posts alongside road, driveway or trail.  The tee is anywhere on a straight line across the road, driveway or fairway

Carpet (C).  A piece of carpet laid down to serve as a temprary tee pad.

Patio (P):  The concrete back patio at the 1210 cabin.
